How do I sign up and what's in my free trial?

To sign up, go to hiretruffle.com and click the sign-up call-to-action. You can register with a password, Google, or a one-time email code. No credit card needed. Your account starts a 7-day free trial with full access to core features, capped at 1 active position, 5 completed candidate interviews, and 1 teammate.


How to sign up

To sign up, open hiretruffle.com and follow the prompts to create your account.


  1. Go to hiretruffle.com and click Start free trial (or Get started).

  2. Enter your work email address.

  3. Pick how you'd like to register. Set a password, continue with Google, or request a one-time email code.

  4. Confirm your email if prompted, then add your name and your company name.

  5. You land on the Truffle dashboard.


Use your work email. It makes it easier to invite teammates from the same domain later.


What's in the free trial

The 7-day trial gives you full access to every core feature so you can evaluate the product end-to-end before picking a plan.


  • Length. 7 days from sign-up.

  • Positions. 1 active position at a time.

  • Candidates. Invite as many as you like. Only 5 completed interviews count toward the trial cap; partial and incomplete responses don't count.

  • Teammates. 1 (you). Team invites unlock after you upgrade.

  • Features included. The interview wizard, AI match scoring, Magic Review, AI summaries and candidate shorts, the three assessments (Personality, Work Scenarios, Environment Fit), custom branding, qualification checks, email templates, the API, and integrations.

  • Credit card. Not required. You won't be charged unless you explicitly pick a plan at the end of the trial.


What happens when the trial ends

At the end of the 7 days, you'll be prompted to pick a plan.


  • If you subscribe. Your existing positions, candidates, and team carry straight over. No re-setup. You get the full Essentials or Custom-plan limits.

  • If you don't. Your account becomes read-only. You keep access to everything you've already set up, but can't publish new positions or accept new interviews. Your data is preserved for 90 days so you can come back and subscribe without losing anything.
