What plans does Truffle offer and how does billing work?

Essentials is $149/month ($99/month annual) with 150 candidates per month, unlimited positions and teammates. Custom plans are available for teams screening at scale. Cancel anytime.

Truffle has two paid plans. Essentials ($149/month, or $99/month billed annually) and Custom (negotiated pricing for teams at scale). Essentials covers 150 completed candidate interviews per month with unlimited positions, unlimited teammates, and every core feature. You can cancel anytime; your data is preserved for 90 days after access ends.


Essentials plan

Essentials is the default paid plan for most teams.


  • Price. $149/month on monthly billing, or $99/month on annual billing (a 33% discount).

  • Candidates. 150 completed interviews per month. Partial and incomplete interviews don't count.

  • Positions. Unlimited active positions.

  • Teammates. Unlimited.

  • Features. Every core feature, including AI match scoring, Magic Review, assessments (Personality, Work Scenarios, Environment Fit), custom email templates, the API, and integrations.


Custom plan

If you consistently screen more than 150 candidates a month or need additional compliance controls, Custom gives you volume pricing and enterprise features. Contact sales for a quote.


Free trial

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with full access to core features, limited to 1 active position, 5 completed interviews, and 1 team member. No credit card required. You can invite unlimited candidates during the trial. Only the 5 completed interviews count toward the limit. At the end of the trial, you'll be prompted to pick a plan to continue.


How to upgrade, change plans, or switch billing cadence

To change your plan or billing cadence, go to Settings → Billing & Subscriptions and choose the plan you want.


  1. Click Company Settings in the sidebar.

  2. Open the Billing & Subscriptions tab.

  3. Pick your plan and billing cadence (monthly or annual).

  4. Enter or update payment details.

  5. Confirm the change.


Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle. If you switch from monthly to annual, you'll be charged the annual amount at the start of the next cycle.


How to cancel your subscription

To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Billing & Subscriptions and click Cancel plan.


  1. Open Settings → Billing & Subscriptions.

  2. Click Cancel plan.

  3. Confirm when prompted.


Cancellation stops auto-renewal. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account becomes read-only and your data is preserved for 90 days. If you resubscribe within 90 days, everything is restored. Positions, candidates, interviews, team. After 90 days, the data is deleted.
