Truffle uses a credit-based model. You pick a plan for a pool of credits each month, then spend those credits across resume screening, one-way interviews, and assessments. Self-serve plans run from $49/month (Starter) to $599/month (Scale), with a Custom plan for higher volume. Every feature is on every plan. Plans differ only by the size of the credit pool.
How credits work
One shared pool of credits covers all three screening methods. A credit is charged only when a screening gives you a result to act on.
Resume screened by AI Match — 1 credit.
Assessed candidate (Personality, Work Scenarios, and Environment Fit) — 2 credits.
Completed one-way interview — 5 credits.
If a candidate never starts or doesn't finish, it costs nothing. Reopening a result you already paid for never charges you twice.
Self-serve plans
Every plan includes every feature. You choose a plan by how many credits you need each month.

"Roughly X roles a month" is a capacity guide. A thorough screening funnel runs about 150 credits per role, a lean one about 75. The calculator on the pricing page gives an exact figure for your mix.
Every plan includes unlimited positions, unlimited team members, AI Match scores, summaries and comparisons, full interview transcripts, Candidate Shorts, custom branding on every Position Link, and live chat support.
Custom plan
If you need higher volume, integrations, or hands-on setup, the Custom plan covers it. It comes with custom credit volume, priority support and onboarding, and enterprise controls. Book a call with the team for a quote.
Credits that roll over
On Core, Team, and Scale, unused monthly credits roll over for 12 months while you stay subscribed, capped at 3 times the plan's monthly pool. Starter is a flat monthly pool with no roll-over. Rolled-over credits are forfeited if you downgrade or cancel.
Overage
On Core and up, extra screening past your monthly pool is billed at a flat $0.25 per credit. Starter is a hard cap with no overages, so a busy week never becomes a surprise bill. Upgrade any time if you need a larger pool.
Annual billing
Annual billing is 2 months free. The annual figure is the effective monthly rate, billed once a year. On an annual plan, your whole year of credits is available up front, so you can use them whenever you hire.
Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with 30 credits and full access to every feature. No credit card required. Spend the credits across resume screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate the product end to end. At the end of the trial, you pick a plan to continue.
How to upgrade, change plans, or switch billing cadence
To change your plan or billing cadence, go to Settings → Billing & Subscriptions and choose the plan you want. Active subscribers can upgrade or downgrade in-app at any time; there's no need to contact support. The billing page also shows your usage in credit terms, so you can check whether your current pool fits before switching.
Click Company Settings in the sidebar.
Open the Billing & Subscriptions tab.
Pick your plan and billing cadence (monthly or annual).
Enter or update payment details.
Confirm the change.
An upgrade takes effect right away, so the larger credit pool is available immediately. A downgrade takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
How to cancel your subscription
To cancel, go to Settings → Billing & Subscriptions and click Cancel plan.
Open Settings → Billing & Subscriptions.
Click Cancel plan.
Confirm when prompted.
Cancellation stops auto-renewal. You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account becomes read-only and your data is preserved for 90 days. If you resubscribe within 90 days, everything is restored: positions, candidates, interviews, and team. After 90 days, the data is deleted.
