The monthly limit for extra credits caps what you spend on extra credits in a month. Owners and Admins can set it on Core, Team, and Scale. You'll never pay more than your limit for extra credits in a month. Your plan's price isn't part of the limit.
How to set a monthly limit
There's no limit unless you set one. Owners and Admins can set, change, or remove it.
Go to Settings → Billing & Subscriptions.
Next to Extra credits, click Set a limit.
Enter the most you want to spend on extra credits each month, then click Save limit.
To change or remove the limit, click Change next to it. The limit is monthly on every plan, including annual plans. If you set it to $0, you'll only use your plan's credits. If you lower your limit below what you've already used this month, what you've used still counts, and nothing more is charged this month.
What happens when you reach the limit
When you reach the monthly limit, new candidates can still apply and interview, but they're queued for scoring.
Queued — shown on the candidate's row and on their page. You can still watch their recordings.
Emails — Owners and Admins get an email at 80% and at 100% of the limit.
Banner — Owners and Admins see a banner in the app with the number of queued candidates.
Members — they see Queued, but never see spending amounts.
When queued candidates are scored
Queued candidates are scored as soon as credits are available, oldest first.
Right away — if you raise your limit or upgrade your plan.
When your limit resets — if you do nothing. Your limit resets each month, and queued candidates are scored before anyone new. Settings shows the date.
How to save credits for new candidates
Queued candidates use your next credits first. To keep those credits for the candidates you still want to see:
Reject candidates you've already decided on — rejecting a queued candidate cancels their scoring. It uses no credits.
Close positions you've finished hiring for — closing a position cancels scoring for everyone queued in it. See How do I close or archive a position?.
If a candidate shows Not scored
If a queued candidate still isn't scored by the end of your next billing period, their row shows Not scored. Open the candidate and click Score now to score them with your current credits.
