Yes. A welcome video is an optional message candidates see at the start of the screening. You can record one in the browser or upload a video file you already have. The same choice is available for the completion message candidates see when they finish.
Where to find the welcome message
The welcome message lives on the Review and activate step of position setup, in the Candidate experience section.
Open the position and go to the Review and activate step.
Find the Candidate experience section.
On the Welcome message row, choose how to add your message.
You have three options: Record Video, Upload Video, or Add Text.
How to upload a video
Click Upload Video on the Welcome message row and pick a file from your device.
Formats. MP4, MOV, or WebM.
Length. Up to 2 minutes.
File size. Up to 50MB.
If a file is the wrong format, too long, or too large, Truffle shows a message and does not upload it. Once the upload finishes, you can preview it, replace it, or remove it.
How to record instead
If you would rather record, click Record Video to open the recorder in your browser. Recordings can be up to 2 minutes long and must be at least 2 seconds.
Before you record, the settings panel next to the preview lets you pick your camera and microphone and choose a background. You can apply Blur or a custom background. Background options depend on your device, so they are not available everywhere.
The completion message works the same way
The Completion message and redirect row in the same section offers the same Record Video, Upload Video, and Add Text options, with the same format, length, and size limits.
Note: Adding a new video replaces the current one, and that cannot be undone.
