How do I contact the employer about my application?

Truffle provides the interview technology; employers make all hiring decisions. For your status, timeline, the role, declining, or changing details, contact the employer directly — usually by replying to their invitation email.

For candidates with questions about a role, their application status, hiring timeline, or details only the employer can change.

Truffle provides the interview technology employers use, but we aren't involved in individual hiring decisions — so questions about your application go to the employer, not Truffle. The fastest way to reach them is to reply to your original interview invitation or reminder email. Truffle support can still help with anything technical about the interview itself.

What the employer handles, not Truffle

The employer owns every hiring decision, so they're the right contact for questions about the role or your application. We can't help with:

  • Updates on your application status or whether you're moving forward.

  • Interview timelines, deadlines, or extensions.

  • Declining or withdrawing from a role.

  • Changing your email address or contact details on an application.

  • Details about the specific role or job requirements.

How to reach the employer

To contact the employer, reply on whatever channel they used to invite you. The simplest option is to reply directly to your original interview invitation or reminder email. You can also use any other channel you already have with them, such as LinkedIn.

If you want to decline or withdraw

If you've accepted another offer or no longer want to continue, you don't need to do anything in Truffle — simply let the employer know. Reply to their invitation or reminder email so the right team hears it directly. There's no withdraw button in the interview itself, and Truffle can't pass a message to the employer on your behalf.

If you need to change your email or details

There isn't a self-serve way to change the email address tied to your interview from Truffle's side. If you applied with the wrong email or need to update your details, contact the employer — they manage invitations and can re-send or update things as needed.

If your interview link or deadline has passed

Interview invitations can have a deadline, and an employer may close a role once they've finished reviewing. If your link has expired or you're worried about timing, it's best not to wait — reach out to the employer directly to ask whether they can reopen it or extend the deadline. That decision is theirs, not Truffle's.

What Truffle support can help with

Truffle support can help with the interview technology itself. Reach out to us using the chat icon in the bottom-right corner of any page if you have:

  • Technical issues, like your camera or microphone not working.

  • Questions about using the Truffle one-way interview platform.

  • Problems accessing your interview link.
