What happens after I finish my interview?

When you reach the completion screen, your responses are sent to the employer — nothing more to do. They review on their own timeline and reach out if moving forward. For status questions, contact the employer.

For candidates who have finished their interview and want to know what comes next.

When you reach the "Screening complete" screen, you're done — your responses are recorded and sent to the employer automatically. You don't need to submit anything else, and it's safe to close the tab. What happens next is up to the employer.

How to know you're finished

You'll see a confirmation screen listing the parts you completed (for example, your video interview and any assessments) and a message that the team will review your responses. That's your sign everything went through. If you reached this screen, your responses are saved — there's nothing else to send.

What the employer does next

The employer reviews candidates' responses and decides who to move forward. Because every employer runs their hiring process differently, there's no single timeline we can promise on their behalf:

  • Some employers review within days; others take longer.

  • You'll typically hear back from the employer directly, through the same channel they used to invite you.

  • Truffle doesn't make hiring decisions and isn't told the outcome, so we can't share a status or result.

Questions about your status or next steps

For anything about your application status, timing, or the role itself, the employer is the right contact — reply to their original invitation or reminder email. See How do I contact the employer about my application? for the details.

If you run into a technical problem after finishing — for example, you're not sure your interview submitted — reach us via the chat icon on the page and we'll confirm things went through.
