Your home page is the first thing you see after you log in to Truffle. It opens at Home in the sidebar and pulls together the candidates waiting for your review, recent team activity, and quick access to the rest of the workspace. From here you can jump straight into reviewing candidates, create a position, or search for anyone across your account.
The greeting and review count
The top of the home page greets you by name (for example, "Good morning, Alex") and shows how many candidates are waiting. When candidates are in your queue, it reads "3 candidates waiting for review". When there are none, it reads "You're all caught up". A Create position button sits in the same header so you can start a new position at any time.
Get started (new accounts)
If you're new and haven't built anything yet, the home page shows a Get started checklist instead of a queue. It tracks three milestones and marks each one complete as you go:
Create your first position — set up your first role with interview questions.
Invite candidates — send an interview invitation to your first candidate.
Complete your first review — watch an interview and leave your first review.
Each incomplete milestone has a button that takes you to the right place. Once you have candidates in your workspace, the checklist is replaced by your review queue.
Ready for review
The Ready for review section is your work queue. It lists candidates who have finished screening and are waiting on a decision, grouped by position. Each group header shows the position title, how many candidates are waiting, and the match score range for that group.
Inside a group, each candidate row has a Review action to open them in Magic Review and a View profile action to open their full profile. If a group has more than three candidates waiting, a Show more control expands the rest. View all takes you to your full Positions list.
When nothing is waiting, this section shows an "You're all caught up" message in place of the queue.
Alternative selection requests
If any candidate has asked to be considered under an alternative selection process, an Alternative selection requests section appears above the queue. Each row shows the candidate's name, the position, and when they asked. You can open the request for detail, use Reach out to email the candidate, or Mark handled once you've dealt with it.
Team activity
The Team activity section shows what your teammates have done in the last 7 days: advancing, hiring, rejecting, or holding candidates, leaving star ratings, adding notes, and updating deadlines. Each entry links to the candidate it refers to.
If you haven't invited any teammates yet, this section instead shows an Invite your hiring team card with an Invite teammates button. You can dismiss the card if you'd rather not see it.
The sidebar
The sidebar on the left is how you move around Truffle. The main navigation items are:
Home — this page.
Positions — all your positions and their candidates.
Analytics — reporting across your positions.
Teams — manage teammates and their access.
Integrations — connect Truffle to other tools.
Note:Teams and Integrations only appear for accounts with admin access. At the bottom of the sidebar you'll find Help Center, Company Settings, a What's new link, and your account menu.
Global search
Global search lets you find any candidate or position from anywhere in Truffle. Open it with the keyboard shortcut, or click Search near the top of the sidebar.
Mac: press Cmd and K together.
Windows: press Ctrl and K together.
Start typing at least two characters and Truffle searches your candidates and positions at once, grouping the results under Candidates and Positions. Candidate results show their status and score; position results show how many candidates they have. Before you type, the panel lists your recent items so you can jump back quickly.
Use the up and down arrow keys to move through results, press Enter to open the highlighted one, and press Esc to close search.
