For employers connecting Truffle to their ATS, HRIS, or other tools.
Truffle connects to other tools two ways. Zapier (for most common integrations, including every supported ATS) and the REST API (for custom integrations you build yourself). You'll find both under the Integrations icon in the sidebar. Integrations are available on paid plans.
Zapier integration
Zapier is the primary way Truffle connects to your ATS, HRIS, and any other SaaS tool that supports Zapier.
Two key Truffle actions work out of the box:
Invite Candidate. Push a candidate from your ATS into Truffle, which emails them the interview invitation.
Interview Completed. Trigger any Zap when a candidate finishes their interview; for example, create a row in a Google Sheet or send a Slack notification.
To set up Zapier:
Click the Integrations icon in the sidebar (jigsaw puzzle).
Select Zapier.
Click Get started to generate a Zapier API key.
Paste the key into Zapier when prompted during Zap setup.

For any of these, open the Integrations page in Truffle, find the ATS card, and click Get started to open the relevant Zap template. Most ATS integrations send candidates from the ATS into Truffle using the Invite Candidate action.
Beta: direct ATS integrations
We're currently beta-testing direct integrations with major ATS platforms. Ashby, Greenhouse, Zoho Recruit, and others. That don't require Zapier as middleware. Direct integrations handle candidate sync, status updates, and reporting natively, with a simpler setup and tighter data flow than the Zapier equivalents.
If you'd like early access for your workspace, reach out to your Truffle contact or contact support through the chat widget. We'll walk you through setup and pair you with the engineering team while the integration is in beta.
Other integrations
Anything outside the supported ATS list works through Zapier too. Over 1,000 apps are available there. For example, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, or Google Workspace.

Requesting a new integration
If Truffle doesn't support the tool you need, click Request integration on any integration card. Your request goes to the product team; you'll hear back if it's on the roadmap.
