Using Multi-Select to manage and export candidates

Multi-select lets you take action on multiple candidates at once.

Updated over a week ago

You can use it to export shortlists, apply filters before exporting, and (soon) manage candidate states in bulk.

What is multi-select?

Multi-select allows you to select multiple candidates from a job’s candidate list and perform actions on them together instead of one by one.

This is especially useful when you want to:

  • Export a shortlist to your ATS, CRM, or spreadsheet

  • Share a filtered list of candidates with your team

  • Move faster when reviewing high-volume roles

How to select candidates

  1. Go to a job and open the Candidates tab

  2. Use the checkboxes next to each candidate to select individuals

  3. To select everyone in the current view, use Select all

Once at least one candidate is selected, a bulk action bar will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Exporting candidates

You can export candidates directly from the multi-select bar.

Export without filters

  • Select candidates manually or use Select all

  • Click More

  • Choose Export

This will export all selected candidates.

Export with filters applied

You can apply filters before exporting to narrow your list.

Examples:

  • Match % above 60%

  • Specific candidate status (e.g. Reviewed, On Hold)

Steps:

  1. Click Filters and apply your criteria

  2. Use Select all to select only the filtered candidates

  3. Click More → Export

Only candidates that match the active filters will be exported.

What’s included in exports

Exports include:

  • Candidate name and contact details

  • Current candidate status

  • Match % (if applicable)

Exports do not include:

  • Full interview transcripts

  • Video or audio files

What’s coming next

We’re continuing to build on multi-select. Coming soon:

  • Bulk status changes

  • Bulk archive actions

Tips and best practices

  • Apply filters first if you want a clean shortlist

  • Use exports to keep external systems (ATS, CRM, spreadsheets) in sync

  • If you don’t see a candidate, check whether filters or job-level access controls are applied
